Canara Robeco Mutual Fund appoints Shridatta Bhandwaldar as head of equities

Shridatta Bhandwaldar has been appointed as head of equities of Canara Robeco Mutual Fund. Bhandwaldar has replaced Krishna Sanghavi, who left the fund house recently. The 19th largest mutual fund house by AAUM has also appointed Sanjay Bembalkar as fund manager- equities.

Both appointments are effective from October 1. Both the officials have been working with Canara Robeco Mutual Fund for a while now. Shridatta Bhandwaldar has a total experience of 14 years. He has been with Canara Robeco Mutual Fund as fund manager-equities from July 2016 till September 2019.

Before joining Canara Robeco, he worked with SBI Pension Funds as headresearch/portfolio manager July 2012 to June 2016. He was senior equity analyst with Heritage India Advisory from October 2009 to June 2012. He started his career as a research associate with MF Global Securities in April 2006.
