Banking of Maharashtra posts net profit of Rs. 27 Crore
Bank of Maharashtra has reported a net profit of Rs.27 crore against a net loss of Rs.1,119 crore in the preceding quarter. A tax write-back of Rs.90 crore, against Rs.76 crore in the year-ago period, boosted the bank’s bottomline.
Its net interest income edged up 4 per cent year-on-year to Rs.1,003 crore in the reporting quarter ended September 30, 2018, against Rs. 963 crore in the year-ago quarter.
