Meeting of 135 th Official Language Implementation Committee of Head Office,United bank of India

The 135th meeting of Official Language Implementation Committee of United Bank of India, Head Office was held on 30.08.2018 at 3.00 P.M. at ‘Suchintan’ meeting hall under the chairmanship of Sri Ashok Kumar Pradhan,Executive Director. Sri Arun Kumar Verma,Chief Vigilance Officer & Md.Abdul Wahid,General Manager were also present on the dias. The General Managers, Dy.General Managers & heads of different departments of Head Office were present in the meeting. The Executive Director while addressing the meeting emphasized the importance of the language. The purpose of the language is achieved, if the person receives the intent of the exchange. While recalling the vision statement of the Bank, he said that the satisfaction of the customers is the main motto of our service and that can be possible only if we communicate with only in their own language.

Chief Vigilance Officer, in his address, told that we conceive ideas in our mother tongue.

Md. Abdul Wahid, General Manager (O.L.) highlighted prizes and awards received by the Bank at national and regional level for implementation of the Rajbasha in Official work. He also informed that the responsibility   of Town Official Language Implementation committee was assigned to the Bank for cities like – Krishnanagr, Purulia, Katihar & Srirampur

Recovery Deptt. & Legal Deptt. of Head Office submitted details of works being done in Hindi through power point presentation.

Sri Dhananjay Pratap Singh,Dy.General Manager(O.L.),while reviewing the progress of official language asked the members present to make constant progress regarding implementation of official language.

The meeting was conducted by Srikrishna Prasad Singh,Chief Manager(O.L.)  & vote of thanks was extended by Sri Baldeo Munda, Senior Manager(O.L.).
