Yes Bank names T. S. Vijayan to its board

Yes Bank appointed former Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India chief T.S. Vijayan as an independent director for five years. Vijayan is already a key member of the search & selection committee (S&SC) set up to identify a suitable person for the position of managing director and chief executive officer.

Given that the S&SC has made progress and is in advanced stages, the board has decided to seek Vijayan’s larger involvement, now as an additional board director (independent) with continuation on the four-member S&SC, the bank said.
